For lizard lovers there are various reptiles and komodo dragons. The butterfly park is popular as are the amazing gardens. These gardens showcase a wide variety of cacti and orchids.
Beach & Sand Dunes
Maspalomas is one of the best beaches on the island. This is made extra special by the protected sand dunes that lie behind the beach itself. With well over 5 km of beach at your disposal, this is definitely the place to be for beach lovers and bathers. As you work up a thirst in the hot Canarian sun, there are beach bars at regular intervals along this beach.

Aqualand
The super Aqualand water park is another top attraction in Maspalomas. This water kingdom is an ideal way to spend a fun family day out. Aqualand currently has 18 different water attractions. These range from high octane adrenaline rides to relaxing lakes and chill-out areas.
There are plenty of play areas and rides for the toddlers and younger ones also. For the thrill seekers, the best rides are Kamikaze, Rapids, Mamut and Adrenalina.
For the young ones it’s Polynesia and Children’s Paradise. The Jacuzzi and Pirates River are the best attractions for total relaxation on the water.
